The Book that Changed the World

On November 23rd 2010 Elizabeth James and four 6th form students, Joe Ewing, Mwari Barahira, Charlie Burt and Kate Ingham-Roy gave a presentation on the King James Bible in the Banqueting House in Whitehall in the presence of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh and four hundred invited guests. They were personally introduced to the Duke of Edinburgh who asked many insightful questions about their future university destinations and who seemed genuinely delighted to speak with young people who care about the enduring legacy of the King James Bible. Each student chose a verse from the KJB as part of their presentation and were delighted to accept a King James Bible for the College inscribed with a message from the Trustees and were each presented with a newly minted £2 coin.
